Dubai Future Week 2026: Sheikh Hamdan Announces Four-Day Event for November

Dubai is preparing to bring together thousands of the world’s leading minds for Dubai Future Week 2026, a new four-day global event focused on the technologies, ideas and societal changes that could define the decades ahead.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), announced the event on September 1.

Taking place from November 18 to 21, 2026, Dubai Future Week will be organised by the Dubai Future Foundation across two of Dubai’s most prominent innovation landmarks: Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future.

The event will operate under the theme “For the Human of the Future,” placing people and the future of human life at the centre of discussions around technological and scientific progress.

Dubai Future Week 2026 to bring together more than 10,000 participants

Dubai Future Week 2026 is expected to attract more than 10,000 participants from around the world.

The gathering will include inventors, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, scientists, technologists, futurists, business leaders and specialists from a wide range of industries.

According to Sheikh Hamdan, the ambition is for the annual event to become a major global platform where ideas about the future can be transformed into practical solutions.

“We want this annual event to become a defining milestone in shaping the future of humanity, and a distinctive global meeting point bringing together leaders, decision-makers, business leaders and entrepreneurs, alongside futurists, scientists and innovators from around the world,” Sheikh Hamdan said.

He added that Dubai would provide a setting where future-focused ideas can connect with people capable of turning them into reality and developing solutions that create tangible benefits for society.

Five human-centred tracks will shape the programme

Rather than concentrating on individual technologies or specific industries, Dubai Future Week 2026 will structure its programme around five broad, human-centred themes.

These tracks are:

• How We’ll Think
• How We’ll Innovate
• How We’ll Feel
• How We’ll Do Business

Together, the five tracks are designed to examine how emerging technologies and changing social, economic and environmental conditions could affect everyday life.

How We’ll Live

The How We’ll Live track will examine the future of cities, housing and mobility, as well as developments in longevity.

Discussions will also address climate resilience, net-zero infrastructure and nature-based urban solutions. Security, culture and identity will form part of the conversation as Dubai Future Week explores how communities could evolve alongside technological and environmental change.

The track reflects a broader focus on how future innovation can influence the places where people live and the way they move, work and interact with their surroundings.

How We’ll Think

The How We’ll Think programme will focus on intelligence, education and knowledge in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Topics will include the future of schools and universities, critical thinking, media literacy and cognitive enhancement. The track will also consider the skills that future generations may need as artificial intelligence changes education, employment and access to information.

With AI becoming increasingly integrated into everyday activities, the discussions will explore how people and institutions can adapt while maintaining human judgement and critical thinking.

How We’ll Innovate

The How We’ll Innovate track will examine some of the technologies expected to have a significant impact on the future.

The programme will cover robotics and automation alongside emerging fields such as quantum computing, synthetic biology, materials science and space technologies.

However, the discussions will extend beyond technological capabilities. Dubai Future Week will also examine questions surrounding the governance, ownership and distribution of the benefits of technological progress.

This approach places innovation within a wider conversation about how emerging technologies should be developed, governed and made beneficial to society.

How We’ll Feel

The How We’ll Feel track will explore health, wellbeing and human performance.

Its programme will cover food and agriculture, longevity science, biotechnology and diagnostics, alongside mental health, sport and the expanding wellness economy.

The focus will be on the technologies, scientific advances and lifestyle changes that could influence how people maintain health, improve performance and potentially extend healthy lifespans.

How We’ll Do Business

The How We’ll Do Business track will examine how markets, money and investment could evolve.

Topics will include decentralised economies, AI in business, startup ecosystems, regulation and changing approaches to risk and value creation.

The track will also consider how businesses and investors could adapt to new technologies and economic models, as well as how regulation may evolve alongside rapidly changing markets.

AI, healthcare, fintech, robotics and space among key sectors

The wider Dubai Future Week 2026 programme will span a broad range of industries and emerging fields.

Key areas will include artificial intelligence, healthcare, education, fintech, logistics and infrastructure, mobility, robotics and automation, energy, climate and sustainability, sport, space, policy and regulation.

The broad sector coverage reflects DFF’s intention to connect different communities working on future challenges rather than treating technological innovation as separate from business, government and society.

Keynotes, workshops and immersive experiences planned

Dubai Future Week 2026 will feature a diverse programme designed to bring together experts and participants through different formats.
